On Friday and Saturday CCS is hosting the 21st
Annual Cougar Classic Tip-off Basketball Tournament. Over the years there have been numerous teams
that have participated. This year we
welcome Salem Christian, Christian School of York, and New Covenant
Christian. The tournament kicks off on
Friday at 4:00 PM with York girls playing Salem girls and will be followed at
5:30 PM by their boys' teams. The Lady
Cougars will begin their season at 7:00 PM vs. New Covenant; this game will be
followed by the varsity boys at 8:30 PM.
There will be a short ceremony with a prayer of dedication and the
singing of the national anthem prior to the girls' game at 7:00 PM. On Saturday games begin at 10:00 AM with the girls' consolation and will be followed by the boys' consolation at 11:30. The girls' championship will begin at 1:00 PM, and the tournament will conclude with the boys' championship game at 2:30
PM. Admission each day is $5 for adults
and $2 for students K-12; 2018-19 family passes will be accepted. Don’t forget to stop by the snack stand to
support the Athletic Booster Club.
