Friday, September 20, will be our fall sports dedication evening. There will be a prayer of dedication and IHL will sing the National Anthem prior to the start of the varsity volleyball game vs. High Point at 6:00 pm. The varsity boys soccer game vs. Christian School of York will follow at 7:00 pm. As always the Athletic Booster Club will have fresh-cut fries and other goodies, so bring your family and stay for dinner.
Senior Night for volleyball and soccer is set. Volleyball senior night will be held on Thursday, October 3, prior to the start of the varsity game at 6:00 pm vs. Veritas. Soccer senior night will be on Friday, October 11, following the game vs. Lebanon Catholic that begins at 7:00 pm. Please come out and support our seniors on these special nights.
Thank you to all who come and cheer for our Cougar athletes. A couple of reminders in reference to safety and encouragement: 1) Parents, please remember that you are responsible for your children during the event. Children should not be allowed to roam the campus. 2) Fans are to encourage the play of the athletes and not to demonstrate any negative cheering. Please encourage those cheering near you to be positive. 3) After-school supervision is not provided. High school students may stay after school, unsupervised in the library, until the event begins. Middle school and elementary school students who wish to stay for after-school events need to have a parent arrange supervision with an adult.
